Student Behaviour and Conduct Requirements
My participation in InspireU is conditional upon UQ being satisfied that I am an appropriate participant in InspireU based on the information provided in this form or otherwise. If any of the information provided in this form is false or incorrect, UQ may, at its absolute discretion, remove the participant from the program.
Participants will attend the full duration of the InspireU program and therefore will not be permitted to leave the care or grounds (UQ) during this time.
Participants must abide by the following expectations:
- Treat all participants, staff, volunteers, mentors, presenters, and members of the public with respect, dignity and courtesy at all times.
- Respect the rights, privacy, personal boundaries, cultures, beliefs and backgrounds of others.
- Behave in a manner that contributes to a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment and abide by the rules set out in the in-person welcome.
- Follow all reasonable directions provided by InspireU staff and authorised representatives.
- Respect personal property, University property, and the environment.
- Remain under the supervision of InspireU staff and within approved program locations unless otherwise authorised.
UQ reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to take appropriate action, including issuing warnings, contacting parents or guardians, restricting participation in activities, requiring a participant to leave the program, or removing a participant from InspireU without refund as deemed fit.
