2024 Young ChangeMakers Application

The University of Queensland’s Young ChangeMakers program is a unique on-campus experience for motivated Year 11 students. Young ChangeMakers is designed to nurture and develop future leaders, thinkers, and innovators. The program presents students with a unique and exciting opportunity for academic extension and enrichment and is centred around igniting young change makers’ passions for leadership, academic achievement, and community development in today’s global society.

This four day on-campus experience challenges students to think critically about local and global issues, while developing design thinking, leadership and communication skills. Participants will have the opportunity to grow their networks and broaden their perspectives as they share with other like-minded peers and mentors.

The cost to participate in the 2024 Young ChangeMakers Program is $520 which will include accommodation, all meals and program sessions. A number of bursaries will be available for students who can demonstrate financial hardship.

If you have any questions, please contact Jayden Weidemann at youngchangemakers@uq.edu.au or (07) 3365 2835.
