Call for Papers has now closed

It is with great pleasure we invite submissions of extended abstracts for MEWE23: Towards a resilient future – the 10th IWA Microbial Ecology and Water Engineering Specialist Conference.

The IWA Microbial Ecology and Water Engineering (MEWE) Specialist Group promotes the rational and effective engineering of open microbial systems in the water cycle using emerging technologies and concepts in microbial ecology.

MEWE23 will be held in subtropical Brisbane, Australia over 10-14 September 2023.

The Program Committee is calling for submissions of high-quality, original and previously unpublished research in the theory, practice, and application of microbial ecology fundamentals and tools to advance water and wastewater engineering processes.

MEWE23 provides a great opportunity to exchange new findings and progress in our fields, and stimulate synergies, collaborations, and networking among MEWE specialists, researchers, and practitioners.

We are encouraging submissions from senior and young scientists and water professionals all over the world.

We look forward to your contribution to the exciting and cutting-edge forum that is MEWE23.
